I walked out of her office, the emptiness echoing her absence. I have my duties too, so I'll send a colleague to deliver the invitation for ceremony. I came specifically to hand it to her myself, but fate had other plans.
But Her smile, as bright as the sun, and those foggy eyes, concealing so many secrets. She's a mystery.
Then a jolt shook me from my reverie, The elevator halted at the ground floor, I stood waiting for the doors to part, Anticipation thick in the air.
As the doors slid open wide, There she stood, her eyes like wide moons, Staring at me as if I were a phantom. Am I a monster or something? I wondered silently, Coughing once to break the spell that held her.
She snapped out of her thoughts, "Are we missing something, Miss Lee?" I asked softly, curiosity in my voice. She seemed shocked to see me here, But within me, an opposite feeling stirred.
"Actually, I'm here to give you something. Can we talk in your office, please?" I said, a pleasant smile touching my lips.
"Yes, sure," she replied, Her voice the first melody since our meeting. She stepped inside, reaching for the panel and tapping the switch of her floor.
The elevator chimed softly, announcing our arrival,
The doors opened, revealing her domain. She stepped out, leading the way.
She opened the door of her cabin and the scent of her cabins hits my nostrils, it's so pleasing With fresh lavender with spice.
She takes her seat and signals me to sit down. I sat on the chair just opposite to her desk.
"Well, how's everything goin'?" she asks, her voice laced with a hint of curiosity.
"Perfect. What about you?" I reply, trying to keep the conversation light.
"My life is never perfect," she says with a sigh. "And what about your sudden visit here? I thought we'd never meet after what happened yesterday. Though I'm sorry for leaving so early yesterday" she adds, her cheeks flushing with embarrassed.
I chuckle softly. "It's okay, don't worry about that. The reason for my sudden arrival is because next week is our company's golden jubilee and my CEO ceremony. So, I thought of giving you the invitation myself." I take a deep breath, looking her in the eyes. "And you have to be there at sharp 9 a.m."
Her eyes light up slightly. "Congratulations on that! You'll be the best CEO, you know? And I'll be there."
"I'm not that good to be the best," I say, modestly.
"You are," she insists, her voice firm and reassuring.
"Let's leave it at that," I smile. "I should be going now, but please come. I'll be waiting for you. Bye." I stood up and gave her a smile before walking out of her office.

His sudden appearance leaved me stunned.
My heart was racing fast thinking that he is here because of last night. But god saved me he was here for the ceremony invitation.
I slumped on my chair and called Lilith She is not here yet, what about the cameras? I picked up my phone and called her. After a few rings call ended with a voicemail. She's not picking up.
"I was taking the cameras I'll be there in 5" she replied Then, I heard someone panting harshly, and coughing.
I avert my gaze forward and saw Lilith panting, her hands on her knees. She raised her head and said "I ran a mile outside the building as—-" she coughed "a dog was running behind me, he was so fast that he entered in the building and then he ran behind me on the stairs too" she blabbered breathed heavily.
"He was about to bite my butt, but thanks to god security guard came" she said, my face etched with concern but at the same time I wanted to laugh.
"Why did he chased you?" I speak out because Lilith is not less who knows she would've provoked the dog.
"I made funny faces at him and threw a rock beside him for fun" she pouted and my voice broke out from my throat resulting in a hysterical laugh, my noise filled the room as I continued to laugh.
"Ok now stop" she commanded and I stopped, my face puffed with air as I controlled my laugh but anyways I nodded and rested my face to normal.
"Here" she said sliding cameras to me on the table, I took it and brought in front of my face and my lips tugged up in a smirk.
"Now listen to me because main game starts here" I muttered and asked her to come near.
"It's gonna be fun to play with you jeon" I whispered my voice laced with honey but venomous.

My whole mood cracked today when I was not able to see her change her clothes. That really pissed me off and here I'm late for office again.
I'm sitting in my car while my gaze is stuck outside. It's raining today, the raindrops pattering the window and surroundings are all green as the red light turns to green and driver starts the car again.
The building came in my view after a few minutes and driver pulled up the car to the front. I hop out of the car and met my secretary Mingyu on the gate "Jungkook you have a meeting in 30min with lee's" he said waking behind me with his eyes upon the tablet scrolling through the documents and schedule.
"You mean with Celine?" i said as I stepped inside the elevator.
"Yes" he said looking at me with excitement. I narrowed my eyes and looked at him with confusion glinting my eyes.
"why are you looking at me like that? It's quite suspicious" i said then my phone ranged. I pulled out my phone from my pocket.
Dad? Why is he calling right now. I'm not in bad terms with my dad but him calling me during business hours is weird.
"Hello dad" I said
"Son how you're doing"
"Dad fine but why you called me?"
"You didn't even asked that how I'm, forget it
You have to go park's tomorrow, they have their golden jubilee and ceremony of new CEO too so don't forget to go there it's important, and what about your today's meeting with lee's?"
"I'm going in meeting only after 15 mins"
"Best of luck and take care of yourself, your mom
Is calling me" he said and hunged up.
That was nice, he didn't even give a chance to speak!
I exit the elevator while walking towards the meeting room, everyone would be here by 30 minutes. Celine? Such a filthy day but Celine is make it intriguing.

"Motherfucker you have a meeting with jeon Jungkook and you are here? What are you doing here? You know if you will be late what will uncle will do to you?" I said panting when I saw her in her cabin.
"Huh? It actually went of my mind but don't shout more I'm going after 20 minutes, I have some work in the management office too" she said while picking up her stuff.
"I have to go too!" I said while looking at her with amusement glinting in my eyes and I winked at her and walked away.
"Then go I should be going too bye" she said while getting out the office. "Bye" I said continuously walking.
I took all the cameras and stuff. Getting out of the building, getting in my car and driving away from the Lee's building.
I held my hair while hitting my legs on the car. "God i need food right now" I mumble to myself, Keeping hand on my grumbling stomach.
I sped up my vehicle out of anger. About few minutes later I neared his house and pulled up my car at a nice hidden place.
I got out of my car while I reached the place under his balcony and he has a tree here I don't need to use a rope.
I climbed up the tree and made sure that no one is looking and stepped inside his room. Let's get to work!
I took out the cameras and put one at the corner of the bed one beside the mirror and some more...
And then I made my out his room to the living room no one is here? Let me eat something if that's the case. I made my to his kitchen as soon I was one step away I heard some voices from kitchen.
I peaked there and shock covered my face as soon I saw his maids are still here! Without thinking about any other thing. I ran away.
It's my stomach's mistake why it's always grumbling? Whatever, I should leave now...I swiftly got out from his balcony and walked in my car hopping on the front seat. I called Celine soon after sitting in the car. She picked up after an eternity finally.
"The work is done and are you forgetting you have a meeting with jeon's?" I said on the call.
"I know, I'm just leaving in a blue" She hunged up the call directly after speaking.
Then, I drove off from there.

I quickly took all my stuff from the office and made my way in the parking as the thousand thoughts were occupying my mind.
I drove away from my parking and continued driving and a certain thing hits my head, a raindrop. My windows are open.
I looked outside the window as rain held its speed once again and I closed my windows. It's raining and I'm remembering something but what? I curled my hands around the steering wheel. Something started floating inside my head.
Next moment I knew that red light came and vision disappeared as my eyes curtained.
"Princess Adele you have got a new bodyguard today"
"Who is he?"
"JEON JUNGKOOK, he will be here any minute"
"Hello princess Adele" someone whispered from behind me "I'm your new bodyguard jeon Jungkook" I turned around to take a look at him.
Next moment I knew that the new bodyguard of mine is going to be my biggest rival but...
"It's nice to meet you Jungkook" i said with a smile.
